Happy Easter

Or as I prefer, Resurrection Sunday because He lives.

I am so very pleased I get to spend our GBear's first Resurrection Sunday with her!  Because our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, gave His life, our little GBear will have the opportunity to accept Jesus as her personal Savior and have everlasting life.  This is a gift that is also available to you.

John 3:16-17 says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved."

I pray your Easter Sunday is filled with LIFE.

  1. Hope your Resurrection Sunday was all good. Ours was spent watching the little Grandbabies egg hunt, and some quiet time in prayer for Granny this morning.
I will just say it, I do not have a church home here. We have been here 34 years, and none of them please me. I am a Baptist preacher's daughter, but the only place I am comfortable & made welcome is the Catholic Church.
I have studied Catholicism off and on for years, as a teenager it fascinated me, so Daddy would take me to Mass at the local church, or on special occasions, up to Shreveporr to the big Cathedral.
I am actively studying again, and I have quiet times between me, God & The Bible.
Hopefully I will finish this time!

    1. Hi Laurie,
I hope your time with our Lord in prayer this Easter Sunday was blessed.
Being a Christian without a church home is a difficult journey. I will add your desire and hunt for a church home to my prayer list.
      Blessings,
      Mrs.B

  2. Thank you Mrs. B! I appreciate the added prayers. My membership is still in the last church my Daddy was Pastor. It was where he was when I was born, so it's the "home" church.
Being Baptist, knowing the inside workings, it's been a very cold reception here, so I have just let it go.
I will finish my studies on Catholicism, and either officially convert, or hope a new Pastor comes to any of the churches here!

    1. Hello Obscure. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a kind comment. I also think this is a precious photo, but as her Grammy, my opinion is biased.

      Blessings,
      Mrs.B
