Today Is Day One ...
... and I hope it will help hold me accountable. I hope I will succeed this time.
What am I doing? One of the younger moms in our church signed up a 10 member team for a 90 day "Shape Up Montana" program. I joined the team and am now logging my activity levels. I was very happy to discover that my routine household and barn chores count toward this program. However, I am also trying to make a commitment to add an additional 45 - 60 minute exercise routine. My goal is to spend 30 minutes on our treadmill, work up to 20 repetitions on our household staircases (2 containing a total of 28 stairs) and work up to 15 minutes on our "Simply Fit Board (sfb)". Today, I spent 30 minuets on our treadmill, 5 minutes on the sfb, and climbed the stairs 5 times.
Do you exercise daily? Share your routine with me in the comments section.

I'm going to start walking in my neighborhood when the weather starts to warm up. I will also include walking around our property too when the weather warms up.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will enjoy your exercise routine. Have fun!
Good Evening Regina,
DeleteFor us the treadmill is very useful during the winter months. Living in Montana, our winter weather really is too brutal to do much outside this time of year. We do have to go out in the weather to do barn chores, but we always want to get back inside as quickly as possible, especially on those days with our high temps. are negative 20 or more.
Blessings,
Mrs.B
Good for you.
ReplyDeleteSome days I do daily exercise but some days I dont 😱
Hi Rhonda,
DeleteAwesome that you have an exercise routine. I am hoping participating in this specific 90 day challenge will help me form an exercise "habit" ... not sporadically like it has been.
Blessings,
Mrs.B
Great.
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon Regine,
DeleteThank you for stopping by. I hope you were blessed by our visit.
Blessings,
Mrs.B
Well it has been 4 days and counting. How is it going? I am so excited for you to be starting your journey with this amazing accountability of admission to the blogging world. It always helps when you know people are backing you from all around the WORLD! ;)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the updates.
BIG HUGS!

Hello My Dearest SisterFriend,
DeleteI did very well in consistency until this weekend when I had a precious baby to play with and an impromptu Super Bowl gathering to prepare food for. However, today is a new day and the beginning of a new week and I will try again ... and ... I'll keep trying until I succeed.
Thanks for all the encouragement!
Love you,
Mrs.B
Cheering you on Mrs. B!
ReplyDeleteThank you Debbie - I need some cheerleaders!
DeleteBlessings,
Mrs.B
Dear Mrs. B,
ReplyDeleteWishing you every success with your new exercise routine.
I have not been sticking with my exercise like I should be. Hopefully I can find my motivation again soon. I start then stop, start and then stop. Lately I battle to even get one week of exercise in. I need to be more disciplined in this area.
I thought I might mention about a sweet lady our pastor told us about last year at our women's church group. Michelle from faithful workouts is great and she has videos on youtube to follow. She has simple routines up to the more upbeat. If you have not heard of her, and would like to know more, here is the link to her website. http://www.faithfulworkouts.com/
Wishing you a blessed week,
xTania
Good Morning Tania,
DeleteThank you so very much for the exercise routine link. Consistency is also a challenge for me. My priority with this new routine is to keep my body active so every muscle is not screaming at the beginning of gardening season. I am hoping the "Shape Up Montana" program will help me with accountability and, in turn, with consistency.
Blessings,
Mrs.B
Hi Mrs. B! Great job on the exercise routine. I've also been trying to live a healthier lifestyle by watching what I eat and limiting sugar and carbs... oy vey! It's not easy but I also think that if you stick with it long enough it becomes routine and hence easier. Keep up posted on the progress! Have a blessed day, Silvana
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon Silvana,
DeleteI had to leave our house by 5am twice this week for trips into the city (240 miles one-way) thus, I missed a couple days this week. I hope to do better next week.
Blessings,
Mrs.B
