"Father, forgive them; ...

... for they know not what they do."
- Jesus Christ, Luke 23:34

"Forgiveness is an act which facilitates a letting go of the past.  It enlarges, energizes, and enriches what lies ahead and is a permanent release promoting personal peace as a cleansing agent that can sooth fractured relationships.  It's impossible to hope for a better past, but it is possible that a forgiving spirit can heal the scourge of serious slights."

- Robert B. Robeson

  1. It sounds like you may be going through something rough, or watching the political debates. Praying all is well with you and yours.

    1. Hello Debbie,

I had to chuckle when I read, "...or watching the political debates" - they've become absolutely crazy, haven't they?

All is well with me, thanks for the kind thoughts. But, lately, I've encountered several others who are struggling with forgiveness. When I read Jesus' Words the quote by Robert B. Robeson together, they eloquently and poignantly expressed the benefit of forgiveness. Thus, I thought it was worth sharing. I hope anyone who reads my blog will be blessed by these words or be able to share them with others who may be having a difficult time forgiving.

Again, thank you for your kindness,
      Mrs.B
