Sweet photos!
ReplyDeleteI thought of you while I was doing gift wrapping. I used plain brown grocery sacks that we got with our commissary grocery purchases. I closed them all with clothes pins. I plan to do the same thing next year but I hope to decorate them, the gifts you previously showed wrapped in brown paper with red ribbons were so pretty.
Happy new year to you.
Hello Rhonda,
DeleteI love the clothespin closure idea for the gift wrap! You are such a creative person.
Here's a funny for you ... When The Middle Child and Miss N were out and about Christmas shopping, Miss N decided to purchase gift wrap paper. While they were viewing the selections, The Middle Child asked, "Where's the brown wrapping paper?" The whole family responded in uproarious laughter. He's almost 26 years old and just found out that throughout his entire life, I've rarely purchased wrapping paper but instead have always recycled mail order packing paper in to gift wrap!
Praying your New Year is abundantly blessed.

That looks like a nice family Christmas. Love the saying on the towel!

Happy New Year!
Mrs.B
I love, love, love all of the wonderful pictures! You look GREAT!
ReplyDeleteOur temperatures dropped ridiculously last night. Our wind chill is 34 degrees coming off of heat index of 90 degrees on Christmas day. All we are missing is the snow. LOL
Did you embroider the towel for the "middle child"? That is too cute! Seems more appropriate for "Farmer Boy". LOL
I love you!
Mrs. A
My Dear Sister !!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for leaving a comment :-) Yes, I embroidered over the screen printing on the kitchen towel. AAAND ... if you had been here and heard how many times The Middle Child and Miss N said, "E! Wash your hands!", you'd have heard me laughing all the way down there in Texas when I read you comment.
Regarding you missing the snow ... I hear Amarillo has about a foot and half they'd be happy to send down to you. I'm very concerned that The Middle Child and Miss N may have some trouble getting back home due to road closures. We talked them into staying an extra day here, but it appears we may have needed to encourage them to stay a couple more.
I love you MORE!
Mrs.B
